THE DEVIL AND JACK BAUER

I started watching 24 while waiting for Season 5 of Lucifer. A few sleepless nights gave me some crazy ideas for interactions between characters of the two universes, especially considering they revolve around LA government departments. A set of minisereis, with the first being the interaction between Lucifer and a 24 character, followed by their interaction in the afterlife.

Jack Bauer

I. NINA, WHAT DO YOU DESIRE? (AO3 | FFN)

“CTU? In all the years I’ve spent on Earth, I’ve never even heard of them.” Lucifer asked, confused about this very vague assignment the Lieutenant had given him and the detective.

It was one of the first cases they had worked together after the incident with Malcolm.

What if George stopped Jack Bauer from interrogating Nina about the bomb, and decided to call in a consultant from the LAPD instead?

II. DON’T BRING KNIVES TO A GUN FIGHT (UNLESS THEY WERE FORGED IN HELL) (AO3 | FFN)

The one where Jack Bauer and Mazikeen Smith find a terrorist.

III. THE LONGEST DAY OF MY LIFE (AO3 | FFN)

Lucifer, with the help of his trusty therapist, frees an old acquaintance of his guilt and self-loathing, so he can enter the Silver City and reunite with the woman he loves.

Michelle Dessler

I. DUTY CALLS (AO3 | FFN)

With Nina Myers in custody once again, and the clock ticking towards the release of the virus, Tony knows he’ll need some back-up for her interrogation

II. I WARNED YOU (AO3 | FFN)

“I tried to warn you, that feeling guilty about being kidnapped would come back to haunt you”

In which Michelle Dessler explores her Hell loop, and understands why Lucifer warned her

Tony Almeida

I. LONG TIME NO SEE (AO3 | FFN)

After Lucifer returns to Hell, Chloe’s kept herself busy with work, and finds herself investigating a case in Washington, DC.

Little does she know a certain former CTU agent has also made his way to Washington, but not for reasons she’d think.

II. NOT SO DIFFERENT (AO3 | FFN)

Dan visits Charlotte at her grave, but sees someone along the way he certainly wasn’t expecting. However, the two men come to realise that maybe they aren’t so different after all.

III. TONY ALMEIDA: REDEMPTION (AO3 | FFN)

Set after Tony Almeida’s eventual death, he (unsurprisingly) finds himself in Hell.

It’s a good thing he knows the Devil, who also happens to be down there until further notice.

But Lucifer isn’t going to let him off easy…

III.5. LOOP #212 (AO3 | FFN)

Of course Tony expected to see the loops of some people he knew rather well. But he didn’t expect that to make breaking them out so difficult.

(Additional chapter to III).
